Jindo centers on the life of a man called Massaki. Massaki is faced with the realization and understanding that the world he lives in is a facsimile of what it has become and not what it was meant to be.

Massaki struggles to uncover the insidious plot behind the existence of an improbable group of Synthetic Beings, called ANDIES, when the technology necessary for their creation doesn’t yet exist. His aim is to expose their despotic plot before they succeed in influencing another global social change. Amongst his fears, they can potentially violate the human will to self-evolution beyond any hope of salvation.
We will explore Massaki’s struggle as he ventures to secretly find the proof necessary to expose the ANDIES, while still maintaining the safety and confidence of his allies.

Jindo follows the lives of the people who have been affected by the sick society that has risen from the ashes of the old world. At a time of great crisis, the world found the teachings of a young man named Adam. Adam taught us of the perils of war and of the threat of our weapons as we fight and blame each other for our own sins. Mankind is in peril from social diseases and mental sickness, as millions die by the month. However, as the truth of his words began to take hold, and as the world changed with his teachings, we found ourselves facing a new peril. It was found in those people who refused his teachings as predicated their desires upon their ambitions. In their world, lives are not important. The world isn’t built upon the shoulders of men, but upon our achievements. Our legacy is our contribution to society and the only contribution that counted came with a very high price tag. The richer one is, the better. And so there became a great division among men, as we find the have nots, the have mores, and finally, the have everything. The poor are now viewed as simple vermin, responsible for the spread of disease and genetic weakness. In order to contain them, massive buildings called Chubu Towers were built, were only the rich can regularly taste the fresh air of outside world. The poor are forced to live in Undercities, permaconcrete structures that contain Habitation Containers that are converted into housing, and small, poor stores from which provisions might be bought. Humanity is dying and there is very little anyone can do about it.

In JINDO - The hunter, Book One of DRAGON Series, we learn more about the intolerant world, as a sanctioned government Task Force, proposed for terrorist defence, discreetly enters and executes an innocent man and his family.

We find a young, pregnant girl and her brother, who’s only wish is to protect his last living relative, as they try to sleep in a hidden corner of the city. However, she is ill and cannot sleep. And so, he goes out into the undercity in search of medicine to help ease her illness. In his pursuit to evade the night watch, he is drafted by a known group of street hoodlums, known as yakuza, to go raid a small independent store. Through their shenanigans, they are discovered and attempt to flee in hope of avoiding prosecution. But this leads the brother further away from his hope to ease his sister’s suffering.
We then find the hunter, Massaki, as he cautiously follows a mark through the market place of undercity. In his pursuit to capture his prey, he is discovered and must find a way of avoiding detection from the city security systems, commonly known as Angels.
With his trophy in hand, he returns back to his centre of operations to find the young gadgeteer named Glitch. She examines the specimen and informs him that it is not what he is looking for and so, he must return to his search and find what it is he is looking for.
But all is not forsaken as he hopes to make a tidy profit form the sale of his collection, through a contact of Glitch’s, who unknowingly finances Massaki’s activities. Massaki will return to the street in search of his quest and will be ceaseless in his pursuit.
