Ladon is named after a Greek Dragon that served Hera. The planet is the third moon that orbits a gas planet known as Sauron. Sauron is the third planet form the star Dagras, in a system of 6 planets. Dhalm, Plera, Sauron, Gaff, Epsoterra and Saltris. The three moons of are Ladon, Pyra and Glory. Ladon is the only moon with water below its surface. Water is a rare commodity that the colonies mine and sale on the open market. However, Pyra and Glory are rich in metals and other minerals, yet the majority of the colony lives in domed superstructures on Ladon, known as Loc Edra an Loc Dagras.

The missing doctors - Dr Liam Rizza, Dr Hosh Nigellan and Dr Ashki Kenkori are missing and the Peacekeepers are looking for them.
Doctors Nigellan and Kenkori are hiding out among Sympathetic Loyalists, who are briefly aware of what is going on. Not all the details are clear however, as they base their assumptions on evidence that they’ve intercepted. Shortly after the doctors needed to make an emergency landing for repairs to their cruiser, a group of Ladon Researchers intercept a distress signal from a colleague of theirs. However, the signal is quickly interrupted.
“I’m thinking maybe… Jammed or something.” Dr. Nigellan.
“That’s what it sounded like to me!” Dr. Kenkori.
The doctors offered to go check their Long Range Communications Array, Modified by the good doctor Roland Barthes - a talented Communications Engineer. Sure enough, they find that they had received a communiqué by a colleague of theirs, Dr Nancea Angra. The message warned of a surprised attack. “They’re killing everybody. It’s madness…” A break in the recording, then it picks up again. “Don’t come to ‘shhhhshh’. Save yourselves.” The message ends with the doctor mentioning something about escaping if “they” can. “We’re going to try ‘shhhrrrshhhrrrr’ here.” END of message.
As for Dr. Rizza, well the other two haven’t seen him in about 12 days. He left for a walk. “Truthfully, he was getting a bit on my nerves…” Dr. Kenkori offered. It is alluded to that Rizza was a bit of a klutz and was becoming a bit of an irritant. In fact, they found out that he was responsible for the malfunction that caused them the need to detour from their trip. However, after hearing the communiqué, they quickly forgave him. But he has not been seen for days.
Local Entertainment Club “The White Rose” - A Cabaret, of sorts, with lots of illegal gambling. It will not be uncommon to see a local “Law Enforcer” sitting among a group of young ladies, even though the Cabaret/Casino front is not legally allowed. Despite the local crowd, if the crew were to begin asking people whether he had seen a man and give a description or picture, there is a chance they may be able to convince someone to tell them the truth.
Truth is: Dr. Rizza walked in one night, got a drink and was enthralled with all the beautiful women. As a few of them walked by and paid him far more attention than what he was used to, he stubbles into a group of men. What he didn’t realize was that the men were very influential Mobsters who are involved with the Black Market. The other thing he didn’t realize was that they Mobster he walked into, he made a sizable bet and lost it due to Dr. Rizza. Irritated by his lose, the Mobster threatened and beat the poor doctor to an unconscious pulp.
The unconscious doctor was then taken to the Mobster’s place to work off the dept he owed and that is where he could possibly be.
Side Plots
Missing citizens – increased reports of missing people. There is a running banner that indicates operation efficiency, where it normally fluctuates around the 107% - meaning that they are producing more water than the quota. However, for the last few months, that efficiency standard has dropped steadily and has now reached an all time low of 87% efficiency. The reason; Employee Absences. For the last few months, an increasing number of employees are not reporting to work, short staffing several of the areas. Corporate Police are investigating the strange disappearances, but have not yet found any leads.
There is no increased traffic out of Loc Edra logged.
There has not been an increase in
Vigilantism.
There has been no increase in uncontrolled Black Market Activities.
Missing citizens segment: When exploring the lower sections of Loc Edra, if the PC’s are psychic sensitive or practitioners of magic, they will pick up a faint Residual PPE trail. It will lead them to an artefact like a pendant, ring or other. The artefact belongs to the first of the three causes of missing people.
Cause
One: Serial Killer.
Taking advantage of missing peoples phenomena. These are premeditative murders, where he will study and stock his prey. His motive; “They had Evil Eyes – I wanted to release their souls.” His M.O.: He would become uncomfortable around pretty women. He felt as though they judged him because he was different. He could feel them looking, staring and judging him – condemning him because he wasn’t attractive enough. He would follow them home, secretly watching them, plotting his revenge as he watched.
The players will most likely find him making a mistake, where a victim will be able to escape and gain their attention. It will be most likely when he tries to manipulate too many victims at one time.
There is a 5% chance that they will find him lurking in the shadows or sense his malevolence. If female characters aren’t careful, he will attack them if he feels threatened or exposed.
[Killer, VERNOR ANTIOTLE. Age:

Cause Two:
Peacekeeper Abductions.
In their quest to find the missing doctors, a Peacekeeper group is using their influence to apprehend people who may have information leading to the discovery of the missing doctors.
Cause Three: Organ Harvesting. (Random Encounters (1D4)
Sudden Occurrences. (Typically
rolled on a critical failure during the event of the game.)
Quakes - Sudden quakes and increased pools of boiling water deposits found, causing injury and damage to the wells. Scientists are trying to understand the increased temperature of the water, which is normally in a glacial state. Studies show that there is a presence of Thoron Radiation damage in capacitor shells retrieved from the deep well pump station sites. An investigation is started to look into the source of Radon-220 that could be lining some of the pool beds.

Send in a Chaos Queen Chapel and her partner Artemis
dock on Platform 3 of Loc Edra with a 24-hour pass. Chapel’s orders, to acquire
a UEF Trade Pass from a contact – Asgara, an unsavory Emora smuggler. She must
attempt to collect the pass at below the agreed upon price of 1 million credits
or kill Asgara. Artemis will stay behind, with her ship and be prepared for a
hasty evacuation. However, she does not know the details of the trade. Chapel must roll verses her
Charm/Impress. If she passes, he will agree upon
a 1D4x10% = 900000 – 600000 Credits. 1. He refuses
to hand over the merchandise and begins to walk away. He has 2 partners who
will quietly draw in. 2. Draws a
weapon in a fit – Initiative. 3. Agrees to
drop his fee to 900000 Credits. 4. Agrees upon
the price change and hands over the merchandise. However, as she turns to walk
away he will draw a weapon and try to shoot her in the back. Initiative. The group or a group member will
notice Chapel on her getaway. If they try to approach her, they will find
Chapel constantly and nervously looking over her shoulder for something. Asgara
has 1D4+1 Underlings or Siblings who will wish to retrieve the stolen
merchandise or collect the agreed upon 1 Million Credits or avenge Asgara’s
death. As Chapel endeavors to return to
Artemis, she will notice a series of shadows approaching the outer dome of Loc
Edra. “Too late!” She fears that they will not make it to the Landing Pad in
time to escape. However, she fears getting trapped on Ladon more, for she knows
the Peacekeeper’s desire to have the three missing scientists returned to their
custody. She also suspects, through rumors that the Commanding Peacekeeper
Officer is none other than Xenon Xiang. If she arrives
at the Landing Pad, she will notice a series of foot soldiers walking around,
gathering people and inspecting the ships. Chapel
will… Roll 1D4 1. Notice that
she can’t see “Sweety.” “We must have gotten separated.” She will contact
Artemis and instruct her to shut down and wait, “Sweety’s missing. I have to
find her.” She will set off to find her Sweety and risk being attacked by
Asgara’s men. 2. Try to make
it to her ship before the soldiers make it there first. 3. Find a way
to distract the soldiers so that she can secretly make it back to her ship and
take off. 4. Ask for
advice. [If they stay, Artemis will try to
power down and modify the ship’s logs to indicate that they are in need of a
major overhaul and falsify a list of repairs and parts needed to complete the
repair. Armed with this knowledge, Chiang’s men will simply overlook the ship
and search for the pilot. Artemis is an advanced robotic life form and can
“meld” with the ship.] If she fails; Roll 1D4
